Q: Do I need to live in District 4 to volunteer to collect signatures?
- No. You do not need to live in Arapahoe County District 4 to volunteer to collect signatures.
Q: Do I need to live in District 4 to sign a petition for Maya 4 Arapahoe?
- Yes. You must live in District 4 to sign a petition or commit to caucus.
Q: What does collecting signatures involve?
- Collecting signatures is a form of deep canvassing. You, along with Maya and a team of other volunteers will each be assigned a handy door-to-door list of friendly Democrats in District 4 to visit. Simply knock on the door, introduce yourself, read from an easy-to-remember script and ask if they’ll sign Maya’s petition to appear on the 2026 ballot. If they have questions, you’ll have materials to give them but it’s often helpful to remind them they’re not committing to vote for Maya yet, only agreeing that Maya should have the right to compete on the ballot for the Primary in June. It’s easy, fun, and a great way to get your daily steps in!

- Yes. You must live in District 4 to sign a petition or commit to caucus.
Q: What is caucus exactly?
- Caucuses are a tradition in Colorado and may other places in the US. It is the initial step that Maya will take to become a candidate in the 2026 Primary Election. It is a gathering of registered Democrats who live in District 4 who will chat through their priorities, hear from candidates, and vote on their preferred candidate. Anyone who receives at least 30% of the vote at caucus and a subsequent meeting to ratify those votes called Assembly, will go on to appear on the 2026 Primary Election ballot.

- If you live in Arapahoe County District 4, you can sign up above to commit to caucus. Once signed up, you’ll receive access to training, timelines, and handy reminders so you have exactly what you do and where, well ahead of time!

- District 4 includes the City of Glendale, parts of unincorporated Arapahoe County, and Western Aurora. If you aren’t sure of the district in which you’re registered to vote,

Q: When is Caucus?
- The 2026 Arapahoe County Caucus will be in the evening on March 3rd, 2026.
